Boundary Review 2018

Under the terms of the 2018 Boundary Review, the proposed boundaries should maintain an 'electoral parity' across the UK. To ensure that there is a similar electorate in each constituency, the number of people registered to vote must be within a range of 5% either side of the UK quota: between 71,031 to 78,507 electors (Rule 2). However, the Boundary Commission in Northern Ireland is able to apply a greater variations where there is suffient reason to in drawing boundaries.
